Every site like this one takes money from the tools it writes about. Most of them put that in a footer link nobody clicks. We are putting it at the top.
Three things pay for this site.
One. Commission
You click a link, you buy the tool, the vendor pays us a cut. Your price is identical either way.
Now the part the rest of the industry leaves out.
Not because paying earns a good review. Because testing costs money and this is where the money comes from. We buy every subscription at retail, and in most categories that runs into hundreds of pounds a month before a single word gets written.
So read our category pages for what they are. They rank a set. They do not rank the market. Each one tells you how big the set was, at the top, before you read a single pick. If you want the unfiltered version, that is what the leaderboard is for.
Two. Priority reviews
A vendor can pay to skip the queue. That buys a date in the diary and nothing else. Their tool goes through the identical nine tasks as everything else, and if it scores 41 we publish the 41 with our name on it.
If that ever stops being true, this whole site is worthless, and we would rather lose one fee than the lot.
Three. Paid listings
Practitioners can pay for a profile in the experts directory. Every paid profile is stamped Paid listing. That stamp means we took their money. It does not mean we vouch for them, and we would rather say so bluntly than let anyone read a listing as an endorsement.
What none of it buys
Not a ranking. Not a score. Not a place on the leaderboard. Not the removal of a review somebody hated.
How that is actually enforced
Whoever writes the verdict is not told what any of the tools pay. Scores get locked first. Somebody else goes and finds the affiliate links afterwards.
It is a workflow, not a promise. Promises are easy. If a tool we cover has no working link on publication day, the review goes out with no link at all rather than waiting for the money to catch up.
Where we have skin in the game
We run a community on Skool. Skool also appears on our Where to learn AI page. So that page owes you two admissions rather than one: we earn recurring commission when you sign up to the platform through us, and one of the communities on it is ours. Ours is labelled as ours everywhere it shows up.
Skool pays better than anything else on this site. You should know that when you read the page.
Think we got something wrong
Say so. Facts get fixed fast and the fix gets noted on the page, whether or not the tool pays us a penny. We do not quietly edit and pretend. See Corrections.
UK consumer law requires commercial relationships and paid placement to be made clear. This page goes further than that because the minimum is a footer line, and a footer line is not honesty, it is compliance.
